Meeting #22: St. Patrick’s Day

Since I have been taking Irish dance lessons since I was seven, we thought it might be fun to teach our girls a simple step for St. Patrick’s Day. I brought in my wig, shoes and dress to do a quick demonstration before teaching them a jog step. Two of our girls had previously taking lessons so they got to come up to the front and help me out.



Once that was done, I chose a volunteer to try my dress and wig on and demonstrate the steps she learned.


Since our girls love crafts, we also decided to make St. Patrick’s day cards with cool stamps. They used everything from corks to their fingers to make shamrocks with green paint. You’ve got to love pintrest and its endless supply of ideas!


Some of the sample ideas we gave the girls were:
